    1. Map design and rotation in the game - maps built in a similar manner as in previous BFs (layout and distances between objectives might be slightly corrected). That would be perfect to see in the next modern BF maps from BF2,3,4 as free expansion packs. Incredibly detailed and destructible environments. Max players on each map 64, maps optimized for Conquest, Breakthrough, Rush, Domination, TDM, SQTDM, Gun Master, Chainlink (my favorite) - this package is more than enough to satisfy the player base. No strange/funky game modes. Possibly commander mode available. Map rotation visible on permanent servers with rental services. Mixed maps, modes, and so on.

    2. Squad Management system - in a similar manner as in BF2. Possibly a Squad Leader and Second Squad Leader to spawn on (mindless spawning on 3 other players is not the greatest game design in my opinion). Players could also spawn on Spawn Beacons deployed by Squad Mates. Squad Mates might deploy in Vehicles if there is at least one Squad Member. Spawn possibly on the last man standing/alive before two Squad Leaders spawn back again to avoid a complete wipeout. 6 players in Squad. Option to create a Squad in-game, rename it, invite players from Origins friend list if already on the server also by clicking on the names (some sort of scoreboard, no need to minimize/maximize the game). Options to disable VoIP or mute each individual player. Every idea has to be tested thoroughly, 4 Squad Mates in a Squad is a huge downgrade for me. There would be some more incentive (I hope so) to cooperate then plus two more friends in a Squad, 6 instead of 4. Such change will impact the dynamic of the game also. No cooperation should automatically mean fewer chances to succeed in more tactical game modes.

    3. Classes back again as the base concept for the game. 4 classes or even more because everyone in Squad may revive and automatic healing up is slightly faster.

I would see 6 classes in the next base game. Assault (Assault Rifles and Grenade Launcher), Medic (Carbines and Med Kits - quick zap revives for 50, faster revives for full health), Support (Light Machine Guns and Ammo), Engineer (Shotguns and a repair tool, AT mines), Anti Tank(SMGs, 4 AT Rockets, or AA Rockets), Sniper(Sniper Rifles and sensors).  Also 3 Classes and 6 weapons for each new class (specialists available purchasable through the game for 7 euros each). Spec Ops (some mix of decent CQB weapons and C4, self-revive pen), Paratrooper (3 DMRs, and Heavy Assault Rifles (SCAR-H and M417 and Spawn Beacon, self-healing pen) Recon (no idea what weapons might be a mix, and Claymore and Soflam Goggles). Some classes could be heavy with better armor and slower movement, some light with lower armor and faster movement. Add decent skins and camos on top of that and we`re good to go.

Classes would be only included in CQ, BT, and RUSH. In other infantry-focused modes (without vehicles), the player might create his own loadout but without explosives (free for all, no classes). So basically your skill and all guns at disposal (no *) with additional ammo, meds, or armor but slower movement to choose from as a bonus ability/kit, the player would collect ammo from killed opponents. Classic TDM and so on without overcomplications. No specialists either. Classes as those well-known Specialists in standard CQ, BT, RUSH, and perhaps Chainlink. Infantry - free for all with guns.

    Best game ever 10/10.

Extraction as a concept without stamina management, limited healing, and other mechanics, looting of items, a long-term progression, anything like high risk and reward, side quests, uncertain extraction points, this game mode is going to be probably a boring-fest mode. So basically here we go again BF2 with healing, stamina, movement to make it spicy. It`s hard to design a game without playing the games at some point.

There are a lot of things to list but to me these 3 areas would seem the top changes to make.

    1 Content

Add more content in the shape of new maps and guns and character customisation (new maps should be designed for infantry and add all guns from Portal into 2042 main game and all Portal maps. Original and new 2042 maps should look like the map artwork e.g. overgrown with vegetation). All maps need QoL adjustments (more transport choices spread across all maps, more assets to destroy and a 'cover' feature like BF5 to build sandbags at set areas on all maps). BF3 Portal guns should behave the same as they did in original BF3 or whichever BF version the gun came from (e.g. AN-94 in BF3 Portal is awful and as bad as it was in BF4, it should act like it did in BF3).

    2 Browser

Add a server browser for 2042 and add permanent classic game modes. Players want a better choice in the maps and game modes they want to play.

    3 Bugs and issues.

Fix the main bugs in the game (hit registration, can't revive in walls, clipping issues, vehicle exit issues, character movement issues where you cant jump or deploy parachute, invisibility issues affecting vehicles, characters and weapon view and so on).

Balance vehicles better as Heli's and Boltes are over-powered (perhaps remove unlimited ammo and introduce BF5 ammo mechanics for all vehicles).

Make turrets do less damage and stop spotting, reduce dogs armour and damage.

Fix SOFTLAM and vehicle flare issues.

Add squad XP boosts (following objective, increased XP for reviving or supplying squad) and make squads 6-8 players.

Add squad leave and join option.

Speed up the start round process and remove the end round catchphrases.

Move the end of round ribbon screen 'continue' button from bottom right to bottom left.

Improve the soldier animation system, mimic BF3.

Add option to turn off character shouting, an option to switch on cross team chat (off by default).

Add indicator to show whether spotted target on mini-map is ahead, above or below you.

    Add gun lean movement.

Generate a large list of browsable assignments with rewards that are selectable by user.

    Fix aim assist on consoles.

    Fix the spawn system.

    Fix the game stability.

Introduce QA in the patch deployment process (#3.2 has broken the game).

Thanks, what are your other 2   🙂

Or maybe Titan Mode is the only thing you would change.  🙂
