@ElliotLH That's...genuinely kinda hilarious. You'd think a big tornado would be ripping aircraft out of the sky or blowing them up as the debris smashes into it.

I'm still laughing about how much time they spent gushing over the weather effects during pre-launch and how technically amazing and impossible it all was - and I'm sure it was a big technical achievement behind the scenes - but from the player perspective it's incredibly lame.

@edgecrusherO0 It did feel like it should have destroyed the jet. Might be interesting to test helis as they're not as fast moving.

I guess it's something they could tweak but there's obviously bigger things to sort out first.

@ElliotLH Yeah, I'd be fine with them nixing weather effects entirely if they're too much work to maintain/improve, and focusing on the core game. Come back to them once the core game is in a good space (whatever year that finally is).
