@JRVolts Content is tied to every level for the first 99 levels.
After that, you "prestige" to rank S001, which goes all the way up to level S999. There's no content tied to these levels other than changing your rank icon to red.
Once you reach S999 though your character models get a permanent sweaty texture as a reward for that milestone, a sense of pride and accomplishment for your hard work.
