Re: When will AMD FSR be implemented?

@AnkerEde I've used RTX3080 when the game launched and DLSS did pretty much nothing.

One of my friends runs 3090Ti and doesn't have any FPS gains with DLSS.

Massive FPS fluctuations are again because of CPU limitations. If you don't have many enemies around you, GPU does most of the work. When you clash 40+ people on a small area, most CPUs are overwhelmed.

I run 7700X and 7900XTX and still see huge FPS dips in certain areas or during massive fights in tight spaces like on Flashpoint, the central structure on Kaleidoscope.

Usually if GPU is struggling, CPU usage drops, which isn't the case....in my case. GPU stays 100% and CPU stays wherever it was, +/- 5%

@UP_LordPlumber I would still like to see FSR in bf2042, so I can test myself but since you've tried NVIDIA I'll trust you.

Do you think dlss looks better than native?

@AnkerEde At 3840×1600 res not really. I haven't tested too many games before moving to AMD GPU. Games such as BF5/2042, witcher 3, cyberpunk just looked similar at high quality DLSS. Going into balanced or performance mode made resolutions noticeably worse.

But maybe DLSS behaves differently at 21:9 compared to traditional 16:9

@UP_LordPlumber Keep in mind they’re using a DLSS version that’s over a year old, with no plans to update it to current. Seems like it should be done, but you know EA and Dice…
