@AyatrollahUmadi BF2's ranking system was the best no doubt.

Another positive is I knew my next rank was going to be a weeks or months long grind. So I just relaxed and played. It takes the edge and angst off ranking up.

Rank and stats these days are causing all kinds of toxicity and stress in gaming. The instant gratification also causes impatience.
