Re: Why does the 64 player Conquest feel so choppy/buggy?

It feels better to me with 64 player maps.  I have also noticed that on "high" even though i am getting 92-115fps it does feel slightly choppy.  If I drop the settings to medium, smooth as butter, even on 128player servers.  I then get into the 130's.

I have a 3070 RTX with a 1440p monitor.  I have Gsync turned on, and in the NVIDIA control panel I choose max FPS of 140 (4 lower than my 144hz monitor).  I also have Vsync On in those NVIDIA control panel but vsync off in games.  I am basically making my video card control all of the vsync.  I have read that you want to set your max FPS 3-4 frames lower than the max FPS of the monitor so you do not get sync issues.  If you hit the monitors FPS ceiling Gsync can stop working for a moment and cause stutter.

    Vsync didn't change anything.

    The game just feels choppy/laggy.

It didn't feel like this last week.

Try putting more load on the video card by increasing resolution or post processing settings. Games run smoother when the video card is at 100% utilization and CPU isn't maxing.

In other words make the video card the bottleneck not the CPU and turn off dynamic resolution scale.
