@MrRockArm   I am confident the game will run 1080p, 120fps.  Not sure it will support 1440p for consoles and you already mentioned 4K.

Since the game supports 4K, it will run in 1080p. Since 4K is literally 4 times the screen area of 1080p, the display downscaling for that is simple.

As for the refresh rate, the Microsoft Store page for Battlefield 2042 page specifically says “60 fps+” :

Series X can run Battlefield V at 120hz, so I think it is highly likely that we see the same for Battlefield 2042.

    OK @carsono311 ,

    So you think we might get the game for console running at 2K at 60FPS or potentially HD mode at 120FPS?

    But not at 2K or 4K at 120FPS...?

    Not sure personally what would be my choice, if we even have anything to say in that regard.  As most probably going to be a central set standard by EA.

    The 2K at 60FPS would look great on the screen, but for gameplay mechanics, hit registration etc, then then HD mode at 120 FPS is probably to be preferred!?

    @CyberDyme I am actually unsure how Battlefield V runs on XBox Series X, but I would expect similar performance at the various resolutions and refresh rates.

    I do hope I am wrong and that the performance is even better, but even top of the line computers struggle at 4K 120hz…
