The major difficulty of finding players with crossplay turned off.

When I turn off crossplay, it's like I'm the one who hosted the server I'm the only one showing up, and after waiting for 5 minutes, only 3 players joined. Is EA no longer able to find players? Why isn't there special matchmaking or coding just for PC players? I don't want to play against people using auto-aim, and aim assist is not fair. Isn't EA planning to put an end to this injustice?
