Just played a match with only 16 real players total — the rest were bots. At this rate, I’ll be the only one left playing against bots soon. And EA has the nerve to set things up like this and pretend it’s normal.
Playing against bots is boring. A server browser solves this issue by allowing customers to find full servers and join them.
For some reason game designers think bots will help with player retention. I doubt it.
well it does, picture this, you entered a fresh lobby when the game has started, there is only 5 player per team, since the game just started is a matter of time for the people that just finnish up another game end up in your lobby, would be more funny to be 5v5 on a gigantic map or would be better to have some kind of interaction while you wait for a game. people think bots are just the devil, but the thing is if people waiting are not being stimulated, they will just not wait for the lobby to get filled and leave, making the wait for players wayyyy longer
the player number was fixated the whole game?, i remember when the ea social features were bugged, (not the current one but the one before this), i had lobbies that were bugged with a fixated player, usually a pair number, 12, 20, 8, after that even if people tried to join the lobby by the social menu an error just pop up and would let anyone else inside that lobby.
that´s a bug that at least i havent seen reported, therefore i doubt it was fixed.
and yeah playing with bots its boring
