laser designator now is like looking through binoculars.
There is no crosshair unless I mount it on the ground.
Clearing caches and verifying files on steam did not help.

After the recent update in BF6 on 6/9/2026, the laser designator isn’t working properly. When looking through it in-game, it’s just like looking through binoculars. It doesn’t display any information such as distance or MIL lines. However, when you set it on the ground, it displays correctly. Every time an update comes out, something else goes wrong. Frustrating!!!

When using the equipment mounted on the floor, the HUD is visible, but when using it held in the hand, it disappears and cannot be seen.

Hey, folks
Which platform are you playing on?
If you are on PC, have you repaired the game, reset the settings to default, or made any changes in-game? - Death_Sapper1 month agoNew Rookie
Having the same issue here on PC.

It is a joke to not have this fixed. If it's a shaded issue the repair option isn't working. Reinstalling the software doesn't work either. So much for playing recon (99% of the time).

This is the PC platform. The same symptoms persist even after resetting in-game settings and verifying the integrity of the installation files.
