Easy fix - click on "App recovery" in the menu bar. It will clear the Cache and boom it downloads 🙂

Three vertical lines, right above the ea logo.
Click app recovery
And follow the instructions 😊
If that doesn't work you might want to try the origin bypass

- From the EA Desktop app
- Select the three dashes in the far-left corner of EA Desktop.
- Scroll to Help.
- Click App recovery.
- Select Clear cache.
- Update BF2042that actually worked, thanks for the tip.

Guys go to 3 lines on the upper left corner / menu /help/App recovery and follow instructions
