I've had the same, specifically in a bot match while trying to practice the new plane, I get 1 spawn that works but once I die, any time I enter a vehicle (whether spawning in one or getting in one from on foot), the camera bugs out and shows under the map, or some other weird spot.

Same issue, its not 100% though ive had a couple matches where I can re spawn and grab vehicles just fine but id say about 90% of the time I hit the bug. doesn't seem to be tied to just the new plane either Ive hit it after dying in several vehicles now, tanks, helis, etc

havent had this issue for a year then suddenly its back. one thing i noticed prior to the issue- spawn on vehicle from start and play fine till die, spawn on foot then sometime during that a hint on the screen saying press a to switch vehicle seat stays constant despite not being in vehicle, eventually die and try to spawn vehicle and im underground the remainder of the match. so far this has only occurred once the vehicle seat hint pops up when not in a vehicle. might try turning off hints as its not needed and see what happens but just "repaired" bf2042 in ea app on pc and will see what that does

This bug is alive and well in 2025. 

Still broken, the new jet causes it as well. 1 spawn at the start of the match and then it’s broken.

Is this issue still not fixed?? It is January 2026 and I am having the exact same problem!!

Ok, I get EA devs were busy making BF6, but now that has been released I think it's time to fix some of the older games. BF4 still has some glitches too! 

It's unlikely to be fixed at this point as it would involve moving to higher tick-rate servers, which would incur costs. The simplest solution for solo play against AI is to set up a Portal playlist instead. The only real difference is that bots won't join your squad.
