Hey @260229b604c9b13d,

These things happen quite often when you maybe do not have the right account in front of you where you're trying to reset your password of. Is it maybe possible that you have multiple EA accounts?

    @EA_LeeuwHi Leeuw. As I've said, only ever had 1 EA account and 1 PSN ID. There must be a problem between moving console generations from EA's side... I can see there's many other people having the same issue.

    When I try login to EA account online through the Playstation portal, I keep getting the error "connect_error_social_login_failure".

    I've chatted with EA support who've confirmed my account is correct (and I can login to my EA account with my email and password all fine) - I just can't link it to Playstation and there's no reason given. They soon just close the chat and I'm stuck in no man's land.
    It's very frustrating when we purchase a game, but can't even play it.

    @260229b604c9b13d Finally got it sorted. My account had been put into an "inactive" mode (a notification email would have been nice EA) due to not playing in a while. I had to call EA support and they then reactivated it (had to link it again). No idea why the live chat couldn't have helped me (spoke to 4 different agents who never once mentioned the account was inactive). Hope this helps others in my position. Just call

    Ya good to hear YOU solved the issue.  I am having a similar issue.  it shows me as connected on the ea app but not in the psn account manager.  I am not sure if it is supposed to so or not and in the ea app on pc I can see my psn friends but no one can see me.   Very frustrating and not surprised this game has a 38% rating last i checked.  I uninstalled everything EA as I don't have time to troubleshoot for 3 days every time I want to play an ea game

    @260229b604c9b13d im having exact problem can u please give me ea number there is no phone number online ive been going thrue this for a week i only wanna play bf lol
