What are you describing in the options menu that will allow me to use my PS5 controller? Or how do I make sure the task/service on DS4 windows is not running? 😉Thanks!

Completely removed DS4W from my system and tried a wired connection to connect my controller while in game. For a brief moment I was able to navigate using my controller just before it crashed giving me the attached error message. It is literally asking me to install a separate app (DS4) to create an association between the controller and the game I play FIFA 24 using the same controller via DS4 and have no issues at all. Both of them being EA games I don't understand why BF2042 is being dumb.
Cause it gives ya advantage against the normal MnK players !
Also scripts / tools for those kind advantages are not allowed by game / anti cheat TOS.
CheersPS if there is still a message about this DS4windows then it isnt uninstalled / disabled, ya should use REVOUNINSTALLER.
Uninstall software with REVO also check the box ADVANCED in REVO to cleanup leftovers files/folders and registry keys, then reboot system and test game again !
