@-PON-J-A-B-exe  did ya change anything ? Inserted new/other hardware ?
*Did ya test with only 1 monitor , 1 mouse , 1 keyboard , 1 headset connected to the system ?
(no controllers/dacs ect ect ect connected ?)
Disconnect all hardware when system is shutdown, boot system, windows will make changes , now reboot again , dont connect any hardware ,only hardware at * should be connected)

Test with this , and update us please !

  • No changes other than drivers and windows updates I guess.

will attempt what you suggest and report back.

@-PON-J-A-B-exe  yes need to be in A2 and B2 for dual channel.
Did test game ? Still any issues ?

PS a little note: I do not see both SSD in QVL from youre motherboard. I do not know if this the cause for any issues/compatability.
better contact MSI , tell them what drives ya got installed and ask them if there is any compatibilty issues !!

    Cheers

  • It seems as though unplugging my 2nd monitor made my chance of experiencing the crash go down 90% i can now actually get into a game but 1/10 times it will still display the out of memory error.

no other USB devices had an impact, after trying them all individually.

Things that may be helpful to note about my 2nd monitor:

    • its 1440p and my 1st is 4k
    • i have it flipped portrait
    • its 144hz and my 1st is 120hz
    • both are g-sync
    • my main monitor is HDR 2nd is not

I'm having the same issue since I've built a new PC.  i get the directx out of memory error every time i launch the game. I've tried about everything i can think of and come across online.  My new PC is running a 13900 cpu with ddr5 6000mhz ram.  Still using the 3080 from my old PC.

still getting this issue sometimes, going down to one monitor when playing helped a bit but didn't eliminate the crashes, at this point I'm done tinkering and just waiting for them to fix it

  • yes it is.  i double checked on MSI's site for the pro z690-a and it supports my Corsair 6000mz ddr5 ram
