Re: EA anticheat error 116

Something I noticed is that the anti-cheat installer found in the game folder has BF2042 as an option for games to install. However, in "C:\Program Files\EA\AC" the installer there, doesn't have BF2042. And this installer (in program files) apparently gets created every time I launch the game so I can't just replace it with another one and call it a day...

Could this be related to the issue? idk, let's hope someone comes up with a solution or let me just refund this game that I can't play.

    @kimovitch7 ahh sad it didn't work! Now solution which my older machine I did was to fresh install windows unless deaf EA AC devs responds! hope someone comes up with solution!!!

    @maxJsProm Well, I ended up refunding lol, I saw a lot of unsolved threads about this exact issue in October 2022, if devs didn't do anything about it then, I don't think they gonna start caring now... But hey, since it's working fine for you enjoy your game mate, and thanks for your reply.
