Re: Error EA anticheat unacceptable configuration 115
Had this issue on the ROG Ally, and here's how I fixed it after dealing with it for over 1 year and not being able to play FC24 at all.
1. Uninstall EA APP and reinstall it in default location
2. Move Game files to default path and "redownload", this will detect the game and repair game files
3. Uninstall any other Anti-Cheat (mine was Easy Anti-Cheat EOS from Epic Games)
4. Create exclusions in the windows security (Privacy & Security > Virus and Threat Protection > Manage settings > Exclusions:
- - C:\Program Files\EA\AC
- - C:\Program Files\EA Games
5. Go to each of the EA Anti-Cheat locations listed below and add the Certificate manually <---- THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT
-- Right click > Properties > Digital Signatures > Highlight Electronic Arts one > Details > View Certificate > Install Certificate
-- This goes for the following paths (6 total):
---- "C:\Program Files\EA\AC\EAAntiCheat.GameService.exe"
---- "C:\Program Files\EA\AC\EAAntiCheat.GameService.dll"
---- "C:\Program Files\EA Games\<The EA Game You're trying to play>\EAAntiCheat.GameService.exe"
---- "C:\Program Files\EA Games\<The EA Game You're trying to play>\EAAntiCheat.GameService.dl"
---- "C:\Program Files\EA Games\<The EA Game You're trying to play>\_installer\EAAntiCheat\EAAntiCheat.GameService.exe"
---- "C:\Program Files\EA Games\<The EA Game You're trying to play>\_installer\EAAntiCheat\EAAntiCheat.GameService.dll"
6. Run EA App and the game as admin for good measure.
7. Enjoy
Again, this took 1 year to find out. I really hope it helps someone out.
