I have discovered the cause of my issue. I went through all the software running on my machine and closed programs one by one. I discovered that Dell Display Manager was the culprit. The moment I closed the program, my mouse started acting normal again.

  • Im having the same issue, i tried uninstalling dell display manager 2.0 and it did not fix the issue for me

EDIT: it seems its fixed the mouse flickering while in a match, just not the menu

  • Unfortunately, no. Nothing has fixed the issue, even though its been months.

I just tried downloading BF2042 again, but with the same results.

Here is a recording i dis just now.
Be aware that during the entirety of the clip I was moving my mouse at a near constant speed trying to turn around. Notice how the mouse movement is choppy and very little responsive, even though the framerate is high.

Here is another clip I just recorded, which is even worse.

Do you have any other controllers or joysticks plugged into the PC?

Maybe there's a screen overlay running like discord or the EA app.

*edit* oh I see you've already tried this.

Have you tried turning raw mouse input on and off and the game settings?
