Thanks for the post but yeah this issue is really old and...like REALLY OLD.
It was in the game from the beginning but got worst with S6.
The main problem is character loading and map loading. Textures lot of times blurry and thats why its not loading in anything.
I think the main focus should be some performance improvement.
And no its not hardware issue cause lot of players are facing this with baller top PCs.
Also the servers are not up to date and lot of times we are experiencing latency issues.
Again thank you for working on it, but it needs more attention cause players are paying for not just the game but in-game contents too including myself.

More than week old news, before last weekend and not a word since.
I had to laugh my butt off when I read my email this morning !
and thought EA isnt kidding “Dark Protocol” because the mission should be called “ Fix Black Screen Mission” !!!!! And nerve racking killswitch mode LMAO !!!!

One thing they achieved, is a dark vibe.
They talk about fear, i fear the worst for this franchise.
No nerving of anything, they should focus on the bugs and glitches. Nothing else.
They nerve almost everything which drives me crazy. Stop constantly nerving. I dont care about overpowered this or that. Its everybody's disadvantage and advantage.
All the nerving they have done tells me how good or bad they have tested the gameplay.
If someome, so called community, starts crying on socialmedia or bf / ea forum about this or that is overpowered they nerve the hell out of it.
There are some exceptions, i get it, but dont be a rooky about everything. Just play the game.

I played yesterday evening 6 games of redacted normal and from the event.
Seriously, after each round i had to "alt F4" because of this BS aka black screen and yes that is also BS.
Some love for battlefield.....
I dont know what witchcraft they use, but it works, after all the misery, i still keep playing. 🙄
The way to solve this problem quickly is to have ea employees go back to the company entrance every 30 minutes after they go to work.
And you have to tell them that we've found a potential solution that doesn't have to go back to the company entrance, and then you don't have to say anything for about two weeks.
They need to know how we feel.
Had 5 black screen games in a row last night. Zero black screens the previous 2 nights. After 2 years, so glad that this game is almost out of public beta. #getYourShitTogetherEADice
So, where's the fix given it was being tested over two weeks ago?
I've paid for the battlepass, i've skipped the event and FOMO'd content that probably won't be back because i simply cannot play AT ALL.
It's been an issue for well over a year and now it's critical enough that i cannot play even a single match.
We should be getting an updates daily instead some measly acknowledgement with nothing to back it up, just to tell us to f' off.
EA’s headquarters is in California and it’s all making sense why the game is so screwed up because California in general is totally screwed up !
Just wow. My patience is over. Zero communication from EA despite claiming two weeks ago a patch was very close. At least an update about how the fix you thought were going to resolve the issue wasn't working would be better than this. Uninstallation of BF2042 completed.
I used to get it every second game I played but havent had it for weeks after changing skins on specialists and vehicles.
I dont know if this will work for anyone else though and it may just be a fluke that it works for me.
Dont know how many seasons back you need to go either as I just equipped some old skins thats been in the game for a long time. I at least remember this black screen issue started for me in S5 and got worse with S6. I also know I equipped BP/event skins during these seasons and after unequipping them a few weeks ago problem so far is solved. So for me it seems to be related to either BP skins or event skins.
I'm not claiming it will fix anything for others but it doesnt hurt to just try equip default skins on all specialists for a day and see if that solves anything for you.
In the end this is an issue Dice needs to fix regardless of cause and they seriously needs to get the their act together. 2 years in and we have issues like this...
I have not have a black screen at end of round for two days.
Previously I was having black screens after every round.
Anyone else seeing an improvement in recent days. ?

Still not fixed here, I still have black screen every max 2 rounds of breakthrough. No problem with conquest so far though.
I removed the faulty DXCACHE produced by Nvidia drivers about a week ago so that the graphics card could generate new ones again. Since then I haven't had any black screen problems. Maybe it's worth it for people who have problems with DXCACHE to try to do the same as me?
How did I get the idea that DXCACHES were faulty? After restoring the windows system to the state from 2 days ago, suddenly BF2042 started generating black screens for me, so I deleted the DXCACHE and the problem disappeared.

It helped me, but I know it doesn't help many people (I got feedback that it didn't help)
Additionally, I also set the maximum cache size in the Nvidia control panel (screen below)

Today I played 10-12 rounds, only a breakthrough and all without a Black Screen. Since there were no patches, I think the problem is with the servers, with the game client installed on the servers and they are slowly being fixed.
I haven't had a black screen for days either. I'm beginning to think it might not entirely be EA but Nvidia drivers not playing nice with BF2042. Changing the graphics settings in Nvidia Control Panel seemed to cause black screens more frequently. Then changing the graphics quality within GeForce Experience seemed to fix it. That could be just random chance. But I updated to the latest Nov 14th drivers and so far, so good. I even dared to change a graphic setting in-game and still not black screens. Hope is sticks!

You could be right about the servers gradually being fixed / updated, could be why some are still having the issue / some aren't.
