I also have this, Assuming you are on PC disable crossplay. This exclusively happens for me when crossplay is enabled.... Which is a major issue as the only reason I bought the damn game is to play with my friends who are all on Xbox!! Been happening forever and it's pretty clear that EA couldn't care less
