- @Dr-killer-rabbit there is an cpu usage issue at this moment with bf2042 !
This means you need to make sure no (or less) software/hardware doesnt need cpu that much !
i also see some OLD drivers installed at your system and some apps who crashed !

also check your windows Health, read below:
SFC - Windows Health Check
Press Windows key + 'R' ,typ CMD
Press and hold down CTRL + SHIFT and press ENTER.
When User Account Control shows up, click Yes.
Use the following command lines, pressing Enter after each
(make sure you wait till each of the commands is executed properly):
sfc /scannow
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
Reboot your system and do only a SFC /SCANNOW command !

Hide all Microsoft services, DISABLE (uncheck) ALL other processes, apps and services !
Cleanboot is just a one time clean boot ! Next reboot all will be reset and a normal boot will be occure.
Use msconfig to disable apps permanent each for new reboot.
DISABLE ALL other processes, apps and services from booting with windows, check instructions below:
Use the keyboard shortcut “Windows Key + R” and the “Run” window will open.
In the text box, typ MSCONFIG and press Enter or OK and the MsConfig window will open".
Select the tab STARTUP , and disable apps/programs by right click at them!
Those disabled apps will no longer boot with Windows , till ya set them enabled again !
When ya set user.cfg and did a cleanboot also, test your game.
Update us please ! My game launches and then just closes after 30 seconds every single time. I don't have to touch anything. It's not crashing. Installed the EA App instead of Origin. Deleted Easyanti cheat as instructed. Reinstalled BF2042. Switched to window mode.
Played a round of BFV and won a round of conquest and revived 10 of my teammates like a good soldier.Came back, tried again and the game closes almost exactly at the 30 second mark no matter what. No error, nothing. Win 11, i5 12600k & Nvidia 3070.
No high CPU usage. Nothing.
1st time it happened was the 1st time i launched the game after the Season 3 update. Didn't have 1 issue with Season 3, played many games the day before no issues.Season 3 Update broke it for me.

could try a cleanboot to see if there is any software that cause this issue !
Did ya oc any of your hardware lately ? CPU ? Memory ? GPU ??
Any new usb devices connected, or got an extra 2nd monitor connected or anything else thats has changed in the hardware/settings ? - @Chalupagobbler FYI, i fixed mine. It was easyanticheat. Darktide has a newer version called like [eac]_EOS. Not sure where the break happened but i had to repair both versions. First i repaired it in 2042 then i had to repair it in Darktide. Lots of reboots inbetween each repair and checks in each game. Finally both are working now.
@Chalupagobbler Thats good info to remember if others got simular issue !
So darktide anticheat got some issues (possible) with eac from bf2042 !!!!!

Are you playing the game via Steam by any chance?
clean boot, but it do not alow me to do the comands in cmd. say that im need to be admin.
have tryed all do still not work ather games start from the app.

now ya can not do any cleanboot related options/actions ? yes i did all worked neded the first on fixed that but gam still wont start.
Same problem, nothing helps.
it's just dropped after easy anti cheat launcherI think its the easy anti cheat is brok for mi cant install game 609.
- @Dr-killer-rabbit did ya start the EASYANITICHEAT SETUP as an administrator ? So eac is installed as an admin !?
Then ya start origin/steam/ea app as an administrator , then still issue ? dont let me install it
says error_incorrect id :609
and if it work, the game still dont start.
it can be a licenses problem
