I havent been able to play a single game/match. Sad. 

I have the same problem. Was able to play one game, but now at the start during "connecting to online services" it will sit there for a bit and then git the persistence error. They really need to extend the trial if this continues. I'm on XBOX Series S.

Seems like no Battlefield 2042 for me today. I get this message right after starting the game.

I can't even get to the main menu anymore. I was having no problem playing before and then I close the game and come back a bit later and boom. Can't even start the game. PLEASE FIX

Looking at twitter it is affecting everyone at this point. Hopefully they fix it soon as I only played like 1 round.

Bought BF 2042, crash after second start, won't start again .....

@EA_Atic Why are "XP Bot Farm" servers allowed?? I mean that is just ridiculous. And there is far more than 1. Why dont thise get shut down so actual fans/players can enjoy this? Everyone on here cannot play because server load? So boot off the dang bots! Its embarrassing.

It was marked as solved to highlight EA's response. Everybody knows it isn't "solved". They are working on it, if you understand anything about game development or even work in general, you'd know that doing things isn't instantaneous regardless of the systems you use. Give it a couple of hours or come back tomorrow. They'll probably be working round the clock to update and make the servers stable.

@EA_Atic I tried submitting a ticket about this exact issue and the only response I got was a troubleshooting email on how to fix my internet, which is absolutely not the problem. Is there any ETA on when this will be resolved?

@EA_Atic how long would it take to find a permanent solution to something like this? 

@EA_Atic  Can you please talk to someone to get an extension for the trial for EA Play members? Telling people to "hit Retry and attempt to join a server" will waste most of their 10-hours of play time.

How about fix it paid all this money for this game that doesn’t even work 

This is why you needed a single player campaign, so at least we would be able to play without all these server connection issues.

This launch is a disaster, can't play...

jesus christ are we close to a fix?

PS5 here and I get the same exact error, for 1 game to be able to play, 20 of them * out this error. Total fustration..

Was receiving this error message and now cant even launch the game.

@EA_AticI am having this problem, but ONLY when joining 2042 maps. I can play Portal modes, or at least BF3 has been working for me. EDIT: Attached the error message I get.

Deactivate and Activate LAN in Windows solved.

Can play now all type of game

deactivating and reactivating lan didnt work either

maybe it matter, do u use origin or ea-app?

I got it on PC through Steam
