The game consistently crashes to desktop after I die

Question

I’m facing a serious issue in Battlefield 2042. The game consistently crashes to desktop immediately after I die in any match. This started after updating to AMD Adrenalin driver version 25.6.1.

I’m using an AMD RX 6600 XT. I've done the following troubleshooting steps:
- Verified game files via EA App
- Clean installed drivers using DDU
- Disabled overlays and other background software
- Lowered graphics settings to minimum
- Reinstalled the game

None of these fixed the issue.

However, rolling back to driver version 25.4.1 solves the problem, which confirms this is likely a compatibility bug between the game and newer AMD drivers.

You are correct. The game crashes after death with driver version 25.5.1 and 25.6.1 .I've seen a forum member say driver 25.6.3 fixes the issue.

How would I make my driver be in version 25.6.3 (my driver is in 25.6.1, the same as with HustleMB)
