42H of beta gaming feedback

This game brought me back to childhood a little! I felt that a game can bring pure fun without frustration, but I’m worried it might become boring too quickly. I pre-ordered even before the beta, because honestly, I liked BF2042 more than Delta Force. I don’t understand why Delta Force was so hyped, but that’s not the point. The biggest drawback of this game for me is its casual nature. It affects engagement, whether you win or lose doesn’t matter much, and after 2–3 hours the gameplay feels repetitive. I’d like to see more competitive elements in squads, so I’m curious what the battle royale will bring.

Classes and Weapons
- Classes and weapons in BF6 impressed me the most. Each class is like a unique skill set, and every weapon brings its own playstyle with lots of variations and potential.
- Recon with shotgun/assault rifle/carbine – not a typical sniper, but a strong pusher who creates chaos on the map. You never know where to expect him.
- Recon with a DMR and two scopes – an excellent position holder. Two scopes make a huge difference.
- M417 A2 – my favorite and the best among all tested weapons, shreds enemies like a shotgun.
- SMGs – a bit unbalanced, offering high range, good spray, and speed.
- LMGs – haven’t fully explored them yet, but what I dislike so far is their low TTK for such heavy weapons and very slow mobility.

In-Game Situations
The balance in in-game situations is well thought out — you can counter everything.
- Annoyed by snipers on rooftops? 3–4 RPG shots into a window solve the problem.
- Snipers on hills? Use smoke and a recon/support combo.
- Tanks? They can be destroyed, but if you’re in one — don’t rush mindlessly, or you’ll get wiped quickly.
- Planes and helicopters are very weak. With many players using AA, it’s difficult even to leave the base, and controls feel mediocre.
- The jeep is way too fragile, and oddly enough, survivability is higher without it. That’s bad, it needs more armor, otherwise it’s useless.

Variability and Team Play
The game offers huge variability. You can change classes multiple times in a match to adapt to tasks. This adds both depth and tactical gameplay. I’m especially curious about how the battle royale will look: maps, dynamics, and squad interaction. This is critical, because even on 60v60 maps you won’t achieve real results without team play.

Final Thoughts
Overall, this beta gave me a nostalgic feeling of childhood fun, and I genuinely enjoyed it. But I’m concerned that the casual nature and corridor-like maps create repetitive fights that quickly become boring. Some might like it, but adding more freedom - rooftop movement, destructible upper floors, extra ziplines, and underground passages - could really improve things. I’m very much looking forward to the final release, and I hope the game will have a respawn mode like in CoD, which could bring more competitive motivation and reduce the casual feeling.
