A Few Things That Could Use Some Adjustments
So I haven't played a Battlefield game since Hardline. I bought 2042 and played a few games and got a refund because it just wasn't good.
The Battlefield 6 Beta so far feels like a good jump in the right direction but I feel like there's some things that need to be adjusted.
- I know this isn't COD, but if we're going to have Conquest with 64 player games and Domination with 16 player games available, there needs to be some sort of adjustment for squad sizes to play with friends. Keep the squads of 4 dynamic, but allow us to party up together in two squads of 4 (for Conquest) or a full team up to 8 for Domination. You guys want everyone to buy and play the game Day One but it'll definitely be detracting for most that want to squad up with their friends if they can't do that.
- There's got to be some sort of adjustments/balancing for grenades, rocket launchers and the grenade launcher. I'm at a complete loss to why I can shoot someone from like 5m away **bleep** near point blank and I got an "Enemy Supressed" message instead of them being blown to smithereens. In the same vein, adjustments also need to be made for explosives in modes where engagements are closer and much more frequent (King of the Hill, Domination) so that it's not a literal bomb fest and you can't even reach the OBJ.
- TTK doesn't seem to add up; I can shoot someone with 1 or 2 headshots before they even hit me with a shot and they obliterate me in two seconds. That definitely needs to be looked at because gun fights feel good, but at the same time don't and don't make sense at times.
Those are just a few things that I've found to be pain points so far while playing the beta. If anyone else has anything else they think could be added to this list or opinions on what I've mentioned feel free to comment.
