I completely agree. Even without a 5-man squad, I would like the ability to game with more than 3 friends at a time. The older titles had massive communities built on 20 people joining a server for a few hours to hang out. Would love to see some tooling built for that.

5 man squad is a must

A 5-man squad doesn’t make sense. 64 players / 2 teams / 5-man squads = 6.4 squads per team. This means there will always be at least one incomplete squad. And without proper options to leave or join squads, that’s not what you want in a squad-based teamplay game.
Same goes for Breakthrough: 48 players / 2 teams / 5-man squads = 4.8 squads per team. Again, there will always be at least one incomplete squad. - HenricusBGR7 days agoRising Rookie
Doesn't matter in the slightest. The fact that it worked perfectly in previous games speaks for itself. It baffles me why you would even touch something that did not need changing. 5 man squads should always be a thing.

I have to disagree, I mostly play with randoms. Let me share my experience.
I’ve played way too many Battlefield matches where I was left with only one (sometimes two) other squadmate(s), someone who didn’t play the objective or engage in any kind of squad play. This left me playing alone, with no option to leave the squad or join another one.
That simply wasn’t fun, even though I still liked the game. It often resulted in me leaving the match and losing all the XP I had earned for that round, just to try and join a better squad in a new match. - ApexSoldier07 days agoSeasoned Newcomer
Agreed being able to que with multiple squads in a party would be amazing. Tried to play with between 6-8 people last night and every time the game ended it would be a royal pain in the **bleep** to get everyone back in the same lobby. Either larger parties like Battlefront 2 or keep server playlist like bfv where you stay in the same lobby.

I agree, you should be able to join with larger parties but it should split you between the teams.

You can actually join a new squad in-game. It’s lazy to stay with a crappy squad all game just because you got auto-placed

Make it easier to bring our communities in!!! We have pre-made squads with their assignments, let us work together

Well, if that’s true, they’ve hidden it really well. I haven’t found it on PlayStation in the last couple of releases. Maybe they added it later in the life cycle of each release? I couldn’t find it during the first two hours I played the open beta either. If what you’re saying is correct, that’s great news!
