As a bf vet, I'm going to pass on this one.

Don't get me wrong, when the game works its fun, it does have that more grounded feeling that 3, 4 had and improved features that later bf games introduced.

With a kernal level anticheat demanding so much to run correctly, hackers are just getting by no problems. There were 330k attempted cheating attempts the first weekend with nearly 100k of manual reports (thats not being caught). Whats the numbers for weekend 2? Still pretty high I bet - when I get into a good lobby its quite fun, challenging but enjoyable. The hacked out lobbies have you dying almost every spawn, your performance and attempt to pfto make you look like its your first game.

You guys mentioned server browsers (its very needed). But then you guys wanted to try this category queuing you want to implement first. No, stop right there - you can introduce it but server browsers need to be there day 1 as well. Too many times I tried queuing and getting into a game that already started (and on the severely losing side).

Your automation of trying to find balanced matches works when theres no hackers but I can go from 1 sweaty game, hope to have the auto sorter clean up and balance things only for it to be worse - in the end it just doesn't feel like its working at all.

It appears crossplay may be forced enabled going forward? I'd rather it be a toggable option. Im not the most amazing player but then you give console players reduced recoil and aim assist... let me just deal with the hackers - I don't need to add that advantage to my experience.

Then just general quirks and bugs. Problems reliably vaulting over things, reliably sliding, reliably reviving someone with paddles, reliably switching views in tanks (I haven't gotten the chance to play jets or helis yet, settings are weird - need that test range so Im not stealing from the team). But you get the picture, theres a lot of features that arent working reliably. Trying to paddle someone alive like 5 times. Should've completed the first time and now there are enemies closing in and you have the wrong thing equipped.

At the end of the day I'm just noticing more of whats wrong and how long its going to take to fix said issues before it can truly become the best that it should be. Too many times games release way too early and have bugs that can affect the gameplay and can wind up taking years to fix them. And so if I sit over here and wait then progression unlocks will put me behind, new content updates that add new challenges/progression... I just kind of want to free myself from all of that.
