Battlefield 6 Beta – Severe CPU Bottleneck on Ryzen 3800X + RTX 4070 TI

Battlefield 6 Beta – Heavy CPU Bottleneck on Ryzen 7 3800X + RTX 4070 (1440p)

Hi EA/DICE,

I’ve been testing the Battlefield 6 Beta and experiencing consistent CPU bottleneck issues, despite having a system that exceeds recommended specs.

My System Specs:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4070
RAM: 16 GB DDR4
Storage: SSD
Display: 1440p 75Hz
OS: Windows 11
Secure Boot & TPM: Enabled

In-Game Settings:

DLSS: Performance
NVIDIA Frame Generation: ON
Future Frame Rendering: ON
V-Sync: OFF
Resolution Scale: 100%
Fullscreen mode
Most settings: Low-Medium (Mesh: Medium, Volumetric: Low, Lighting: Low, etc.)

The Problem:

In Gun Range – GPU reaches 95%, CPU around 40–60%, stable high FPS
In multiplayer –

CPU spikes to 90–100%

GPU drops to 35–60% usage

FPS drops to 45–75 with stuttering

Latency around 60ms

Game feels sluggish despite acceptable FPS

What I’ve tested:

Lowered all CPU-heavy settings

Closed all background apps

Confirmed DLSS + Frame Generation are active

Tried different maps and servers

Game installed on SSD

All drivers and OS up to date

Request:

Please review CPU usage in multiplayer modes. My system should easily run this game smoothly at 1440p, yet performance is heavily CPU-limited. The game runs great in Gun Range, but stutters and slows down in real matches.

Thanks — looking forward to the final release!
