Battlefield 6 Beta Feedback: Enhancing Gameplay, Strategy, and Vehicle Mechanics
1. Death Cam
Introduce a setting option for players to choose whether they want to view the Death Cam after being killed and finalized, or maintain the standard respawn.
Regardless of the choice, there should be a fixed respawn delay — not instant.
The Death Cam would allow players to observe how the enemy played, understand how they died, and analyze the encounter before respawning.
This feature is familiar to many FPS players and would enhance the overall experience.
2. Sprinting and Weapon Position
Improve the sprint animation to make it more fluid and tactical.
Adjust the weapon’s position: slightly angled down, reducing sway and giving the impression of faster movement.
Reduce excessive camera sway, which currently may cause discomfort and hinder visibility.
3. Joystick Handling and Dead Zone
Handling tanks with the joystick is uncomfortable.
Adjusting the controller’s Dead Zone can cause drift in both tank control and map navigation for selecting respawn points.
Review and optimize these settings for better precision.
4. Comprehensive Training Field
Implement a Training Field where all vehicles, weapons, and equipment are available for testing.
Players could practice with: helicopters, jets, tanks, grenade launchers, short, medium, and long-range weapons, and other vehicles.
This would help new players learn mechanics and reduce difficulty in accessing vehicles during competitive matches.
5. Spot System
Enemy spotting is currently too easy and can occur at long distances.
Reduce excessive spotting, ensuring players are only detected when there is direct interaction or real proximity.
Limit the marking duration to increase strategic gameplay on the battlefield.
6. Vehicle Spotting
Spotting is overpowered for tanks and aircraft, detecting players even in hidden areas.
Proposal: limit spotting for tanks, helicopters, and jets, making detection more challenging (not “realistic”), balancing gameplay and preventing powerful vehicles, like jets and helicopters, from being too strong against infantry.
Infantry spotting could remain, but in a more balanced manner.
