Battlefield 6 Beta Feedback

First, I would like to commend you (EA) on a beautiful game you developed. It is hard to find the right balance between fun and realism, and I feel you might have just nailed it. Very enjoyable content and experience so far.

I just decided to give my thoughts on certain things and tweaks that could perhaps make it even better.

Please, redesign the Game settings menu. For me, it was a horrific and puzzling experience to navigate through many, often repeating options. It took me ages to find the right path, while some are missing (e.g. I couldn't find where do designate "Push-to-Talk" button on my keyboard, after activating that option). Also, whenever I pressed to return back from any "modify" menu, it would bring me back to Accessibility and I would have to go all the way back. I would also suggest to have better explanation for the options being edited, or like having visual representations of different elements.

Personally, I don't even mind people exploiting map physics to get to roofs and other (otherwise) inaccessible areas of the map, as it creates fun (parkour-like feeling) and makes for interesting content to certain audience, as long it is not map bugs, glitching, etc. Fundamentally, it is also important that all those positions are destroyable via explosives and that one can bring them eventually down.

I would also like you to reconsider class setups. I fear that most player have and will in future pick either Engineers or Supports, due to their versatility on most maps - and that's a shame.

I honestly think Assaults should have some tool to deal against vehicles, albeit not necessary strong like other classes (maybe something throwable?). I just don't feel comfortable playing Assault, running around Liberation Peak, completely helpless against snipers, tanks and aircraft.

Current class specialization paths are interesting, but I think most Recon players will generally play sniper weapons due to class abilities like holding breath. I think the other, more "stealthy/saboteur-type" route (Pathfinder?) might benefit if the "undetectable" trait was not restricted just to equipment only, but extended to players as well. Something like can't be spotted by players or with certain delay, longer needed than against other classes. It might result with interesting tactics, creating confusion, breaking the line and tactically positioning beacons behind the enemy lines, etc. Especially if other game modes are planned in final release.

Many have asked for the option to extend the squad size or at least the possibility to join the match with more friends - and I tend to agree with them. Perhaps keep the in-game party/squad size at 4, but have the possibility to join a match with a bigger group of friends/players? Afterwards, the game could randomly redistribute players within 4-man squads of the same team and have them all-in-together enjoying the experience of fighting together. Have friends (by color or player names) highlighted on the map to know where they are, or the possibility to communicate altogether via general (voice)chat? I don't know, but perhaps that might solve the issue from both aspects - for both player community and game developers.

All in all, I have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of the game. Please don't over-change it too much! Cheers
