Battlefield 6 Immersive Night Combat Experience Pitch

Dear Battlefield Development Team,

I’m reaching out as a long-time fan of the Battlefield series with a map concept I believe could add an exciting new dimension to Battlefield 6.

My idea is a night-time battlefield {Map or Mode}, where the darkness is broken only by the chaos of combat explosions, tracer fire, and firefights lighting up the sky. This map would emphasize tactical use of visibility, technology, and also allowing crouch sprinting to be more effective and illumination in a way that creates tension and immersion.

Here are the key elements of the concept:

  • Lighting & Visibility: Vehicles such as cars and helicopters would use headlights and spotlights to cut through the darkness. Tanks could be equipped with night vision systems, and infantry would have the option to toggle night vision goggles.
  • Air Combat: Instead of jets, helicopters could dominate the skies—equipped with underbelly lights or infrared targeting for locating enemies. Alternatively, jets could be included with TV-guided targeting systems to maintain balance.
  • Environmental Lighting: Players would interact with elements of the map such as spotlights, floodlights, or even a lighthouse that periodically sweeps across the battlefield. These could either be static features or controllable assets for players to strategically illuminate (or expose) areas.

The goal is to create a visually stunning, high-intensity, and tactically layered experience where light itself becomes part of the fight. Every shot, explosion, and flare would carry weight, not just as damage—but as a way of revealing position in the dark.

I’d love to hear the Battlefield community and The Devs thoughts and would be happy to expand on this concept further. Thank you for your time, and for continuing to push the boundaries of large-scale multiplayer combat.

Yes EA feel free to use this idea. Many of us have dreamed of playing in a map on Battlefield where it is dark and explosions light up the sky. Just imagine the tracer rounds, flanks, sniper glints, tanks shots, UH60 shooting down with tracer rounds.
