Battlefield problem specially sniping :/
I played Battlefield 6, and honestly, it’s pretty disappointing. Sniping doesn’t feel anything like it did in BF4 or BF1. In those games, sniping felt so satisfying — the bullet drop, the weight of the shots, the overall feel. In BF6, it feels out of place: there’s no bullet drop, and the lens glare is massive. It’s just not as sweet as it used to be. Movement is another issue. You sprint like a racehorse with unlimited stamina, jumping and sliding all over the place. It’s nonstop speed with no sense of fatigue, which feels odd for Battlefield. And then there’s the maps. They feel more like Call of Duty maps — smaller, no verticality , and more linear compared to the large-scale, open maps that Battlefield is known for. You can’t even use rooftops . To those who might say I’m just a noob, answer me this: if I wanted a fast-paced game with constant running and small, linear maps, why would I choose Battlefield over Call of Duty or other games that already do that style better and have been doing it for years?Liberation Peak (Breakthrough) has terrible balancing
The first objective in particular is the culprit. It's almost impossible to take for the attackers unless the defending team is seemingly braindead. I've seen this so many times on both the attacking and defending side. From the attacker's perspective, there isn't enough alternative routes towards the single objective. It's either going to be the hill on the right of the road that offers next to no cover, or trying to make it through the rock formations on the left of the road, which heavily favors the defending team. Going far left isn't really an option either because it takes you away from the objective and doesn't really offer a viable route. The fact that the match begins with just a single objective to take also plays a part. As soon as two objectives are in play, the match noticeably opens up and becomes more fair. But in what feels like 70% of matches it doesn't even get this far. In practice, all attackers are funneled into a tight corridor at the start, just to be picked off from the defenders.BF6 IMPORTANT FEEDBACK
After playing the beta long enough to officially unlock all the beta rewards, these are the few balancing issues i have come to notice. 1: some attacker spawns in certain maps don't have enough protection to allow the attacking team to actually push out of their spawn side, this is most notable on ridge 13 when your spawn side is the lower end of the map where OBJ C has clear sniping of the spawn area and very little cover to push out of it. 2: ALMOST all of the guns need to have thier damage levels tweaked to more specific numbers that create a stronger balance. for example the base AR does 25 DMG at 850RPM, almost all the other assault rifles either shoot slower or have much higher recoil making them all less effective options. i'd recommend faster firing guns have slightly lower damage like 20, and the slower guns be up around 30 or 33 depending on RPM. this should make the faster RPM guns less OP against all other options and balance it out a lot. 3: Air Vehicles such as jets and helicopters have to fast of a recharge on their flares making it nearly impossible to get a lock on shot as engineer with the ground to air launcher. if the difficulty is going to be this high for lock ons, the rocket needs to be a 1 shot kill. i spent a whole match trying to lock onto a good jet player with about 20 to 30 failed lock on attempts due to him flaring and leaving range of launcher before another lock on can even be established. this makes hit and run jet's IMPOSSIBLE to take down. the few lock on's i did get, sadly were useless as the successful hit isn't enough to destroy it, meaning it continued to wreak havoc on our side whilst i seemingly could not get another lock on at all. in short, ground to air lock on is far to hard to do, and air vehicles have too much flare recharge speed to effectively take down at all. 4: certain ground placements are not anywhere near useful enough to be worth using. the anti tank launchers often don't do much more damage than standard RPG shots, and it often gets you killed for even trying as they are all placed in terrible locations exposed to infantry fire, the same can be said for the AA gun in ridge 13, it's extremely short bursts are not enough to take anything out, if barely even do 1/3 of the targets health before overheating and again is too weakly defended. you either just get blasted by the chopper you tried to fight, or an infantry just kills you whilst trying. these definitely need a buff big time to make them more useful and give AIR vehicles less free reign of the game. 5: It should be possible for players to grab ammo as well as health from support players packs as MANY supports do not effectively use their bags to resupply the team and i have often been left ammoless whilst multiple support players were around, the NEED AMMO call out never seems to garner attention and it seems most supports dont know their bag offers ammo to begin with, something to rectify this issue like older battlefields having AMMO containers around objectives would be VERY helpful. maybe make it so a player can only grab ammo once every 2 minutes and it's a full restock. or once per life per crate on the map? there is simply not enough ammo sources to make up for bad support players leaving the rest of the team dry. 6: going back to the guns certain encounters seem to have VERY laggy reception. i was using the M4A1 which has nearly the fastest RPM at 900. and in multiple encounters i would have moments where it would feel as though i'm dumping rounds into enemies, like 15 shots or so to get a kill at normal ranges. and often getting completely out gunned by slower guns? i don't know if this has to do with network or not as i had an average of 50 ping in my matches and this happened many many times. i also would hit torso or head frequently and not legs or arms. so damage should have been quite enough to kill targets but for whatever reason felt as though it was shooting BB's instead of bullets. 7: I think Defibrillators should require a full charge to work at all. the quick tap revives can get killed enemies up far too quickly and has in some cases FAR too much power, strong groups of supports are practically impossible to take down. maybe make it so players supply bags DO NOTHING for the user. no health regen or ammo to yourself through them. this should also effectively stop people abusing them to camp hard spots solo and incite more team work. 8: Footstep audio needs some love. i had many moments aiming silently watching an angle and someone just runs over not crouching but not sprinting either and i can't hear them at all approaching. i can hear sprinting decent enough it seems but the difference between standard running and sprinting is a little too much. i think that sprinting and running should be closer to the same audio level so if players are really trying to be quiet they need to either crouch or prone entirely as this got me shot in the back or stabbed multiple times with no ability to react due to the lack of audio. 9: sniping seems too easy. it doesn't have the same drop ratios as older titles and it's allowing some games to be very abused by snipers. for example if a team full of snipers takes OBJ C on ridge 13, they effectively have SO MUCH control over the map due to the easier sniping and also too little of cover that it can effectively ruin an entire match. i played multiple rounds where we got pushed to our spawn on the lower side of ridge 13, and effectively could not get past the closest OBJ A due to sniping this side of the map having FAR too much advantage and snipers in general being too easy to use. i HIGHLY recommend some form of balancing for this wether it be gun edits or map edits to make up the difference, 10: i did hear and read it was planned to give the deploy beacon to assault, i think this is a good change as it doesn't support snipers camping hard to reach spots and instead focuses more pushing play for OBJ players. i think class tweaks like these are VERY good to make solo player's not to capable and require a more cohesive team experience. I also think a good change would be to make it so players can't skip their death right away and instead have to wait atleast as long as 3-5 seconds to allow supports a chance to actually revive them. too many players are just instant spawning and wasting tickets when supports could have got to them if they had those couple extra seconds. If you agree with points made in this feedback please help to get the dev's to notice this post and let's get BATTLEFIELD 6 to be the absolute best battlefield it can be!!! This pretty much sums up everything i was able to take extensive note of whilst playing the beta, It's VERY fun and i can't wait for the full release, but I REALLY am hoping to see some decent tweaks and balancing changes before then.Just some feed back
just some information in my pc before i give feedback. CPU: i-5 9400, GPU 1650 4gb, 16gb of ram. so while playing i have been noticing sudden stutters while engaged in combat or tracking enemy movements, that when its a place where there's too much sand, fog, smoke effect it takes up the CPU to spike, while the explosions and other particles that can disappear quickly has no issues at all except for them being to big when they happen. would love to see the game get more optimized specially the background one's where the map has a background of a volcano. It's the one that spiked my CPU the most. Weapons: i noticed that the weapon recoil doesn't affect the gun to much cause its just there facing one direction while the bullets moves away as a recoil thing. would definitely love to just us(players) receiving the recoil and us (players) counter acting it so we know we're our bullets go Map: noticing some maps has some invulnerable walls of staircase which kinda doesn't make sense once you hit it with an ROG. would love to break that cover to so that players would stop camping on that spot. yes we can counter that with grenades or what not, but you said destroyable buildings. so... be destructible Would love for us to get more selection of weapons not just generic once like BF2042 but really a new "GUNS, LOT'S of GUNS" with a ton of new attachments too. like the AK50 and MK47 just throwing it out there for peps to play BF6 while being able to play weapons some available to a certain game. Love the work guys, hope you keep up the work.Battlefield 6 Feedback
Hello, As I am playing this series from the start i wanted to share some ideas after 3 days of playing beta. Probably i will add more things to this post as i will keep playing. MAIN ISSUE Small maps - i hope release will bring us bigger maps as this available now are one of the smallest in the whole series... Iberian offensive has 300m from base to base, i think this is the smallest map in history of BF....There are some particular spots where you can stand and you will have 3 objectives all in 80m radius. It feels more like COD.... 2. And when it comes to COD - you have basically stolen headshot/lvl up/capture sounds from call of duty... Beginning of the round and ending also copied... There are many great sound effects from past games and yet you decide to copy COD. Same goes for menu... 3. Ammo and medkits should be split between 2 classes. Not many people running support and its is even more rare to get support box from them. Maybe support will keep the box but another class will also have ammo pouches? 4. Line indicating borders of objectives are to bright and totaly out of place. Blue one look cartoonish. I would get rid of them completely as in my opinion idea of having them is stupid. At least make them much darker. 5. Attachments - you are unlocking them too fast. 2-3 good rounds and you have everything unlocked. (Hope it is just beta thing. In previous games i think that it worked well) 6. Gaining exp for your class perk for assault is way too fast. In most games event before capturing 2nd point i am already at lvl 3. 7. Some of the weapons with all attachments shoot like lasers. There is almost no recoil even on console it is too easy to control so i can imagine how easy it is on PC. 8. Leaning needs some work. Often you have to position yourself very carefully but sometimes even though animation suggests that you can do it, it doesnt work. 9. Change the fact that all classes can use all weapons and not just by using another game mode. i keep seeing support with sniper where they should be on front line. And few things i think should be added: Artillery etc. for squad leaders like it was im BF5 would be really good addition (but with such small maps i dont know...) Respawn should take a little bit longer. Just couple of seconds, just to feel getting some punishment. Bring back flags. It is a small but iconic feature for Battlefield series. Server browser not only in portal. Where is "Request order" command? Where is the option to throw away enemy grenade? Add the music which starts when round is nearing an end.[Edit 1] Feedback & Suggestions - BF6 Beta
Edit 1 content is noted with " * " I'll start by saying that I haven’t played BF3 or BF4. I know many players are upset that BF6 doesn’t feel like those games, but this actually gives me the chance to view it from a fresh perspective – which can be useful for understanding how newer or different players see it. After roughly 20 hours in the BF6 beta, these are my impressions so far. I won’t be overly harsh about bugs, but here are some of the issues I’ve noticed. Bugs Stuck on loading screen – Especially when joining Conquest matches, the loading screen can put you in an infinite loop. ( After yesterday I haven't encountered this again, maybe it's fixed ?) Key bindings not working – Some controls don’t work as intended (ex. crouch, roll, slide). Ping issues – Sometimes pings won’t register at all, or you hear the sound but nothing appears on screen. Random flickering – The entire screen can randomly flicker. Reload animation glitch – Can break when going prone, jumping, etc. Vehicle icons missing – Sniper spotting doesn’t always show vehicle icons. Fly bug – Jumping, going prone, or sliding near certain edges/objects can launch your character into the air. This also affects sniping from edges, as crouch/prone often sends you flying. Settings tab reset – After changing a setting and going back one step, it always jumps to the first tab (Accessibility) instead of staying on the previous menu. No cross-play toggle – There doesn’t seem to be an option to disable cross-play. Missing hitboxes – Some objects (ex. rocks) have no collision, allowing you to go inside or walk through them. * Hits sometimes fail to register. Suggestions for Improvement Gameplay & Feel Kills feel unrewarding – Especially with snipers, there’s no satisfying sound or visual feedback (BF5 had a great “soul” in this aspect from my perspective). Hit feedback – Sometimes you can’t really tell if you hit an enemy. Hit counter isn't very noticeable all the time. Movement – Love it so far, but like kills, lacks that rewarding feeling sometimes. Visibility issues – Maps often look slightly blurry no matter the settings, making it harder to spot enemies. Lack of entry animations – Entering vehicles is instant (teleportation), which feels unnatural. * Healing is too fast and overpowered – it should be slower, restoring only half HP, with full recovery requiring a support player to heal you. * The defibrillator feels overpowered – revives shouldn’t be instant. * Revives as a support player should be tracked in some way and possibly give an XP bonus. * The sniper scope glint/reflection cone is far too large, making it possible to spot any sniper from almost anywhere. * Footsteps are hard to distinguish and sometimes barely audible. * XP gain for everything feels too fast. Settings & UI Unintuitive menus – Many settings are duplicated across tabs, and most lack clear descriptions of what they actually do. I would love to actually understand what every setting is doing by reading the detailed description and a clean-up of the settings tab. Live preview – When customizing HUD, minimap, graphics, etc., it would be great to have a live preview window showing changes in real time (i think CS2 have something like that). Element repositioning – Ability to freely move HUD, minimap, chat, and other on-screen elements. * Customizations - Add more minimap customization options, including the ability to enlarge it. * Cannot bind controls using combinations like Ctrl + C, Alt + V, etc. * Add a search bar in the settings menu. Training & Practice Shooting Range limitations – No ability to change settings while in the range. Would be useful to adjust and instantly test without leaving. Training maps – In BF5 you had a short map where you could test anything and even learn how to fly, shoot, etc. This would be very helpful to have so you can practice with vehicles and aircraft and test weapons. Weapon Mechanics & Hitboxes Recoil & patterns – Often feel random and hard to control, while some guns become “laser beams” with no recoil after certain attachments (feels overpowered). Hitbox issues – Bullets can hit invisible collision boxes even when the line of sight is clear. * LMGs feel extremely underpowered. Maps & Spawning Map sizes – Maps feels short, it takes you 2-3 minutes to run most of them from side to side. Because I played so much BF5 and I loved it, in there we had Conquest with smaller maps (but still bigger than those in BF6) and Strategic Conquest which was way bigger, maybe in the full game we will have that mode too? Spawn problem – Sometimes you spawn too close to enemies and die instantly. Spawn animations – Spawning feels abrupt. A more detailed spawn map and smooth animation would improve immersion. (BF5 had something which I really liked.) Other Classes – More options (Field Specs) per class would be welcome. Grenades – Trajectory looks like a straight line instead of a realistic arc; also, the glowing lights on grenades look odd. Tutorial – A guided mode explaining each class, gadget, movements, vehicles, aircrafts, etc. could help new players adapt faster and avoid frustration. And who knows, for some people this is really a turning point, they get mad in the first 5 mins because they do not understand the game and everything looks chaotic. ( this is an example with an actual friend) * Add a proper server/game browser. * Add an in-game button for support, help, and feedback. Final thoughts PC specs, because I saw some posts/videos about people complaining the game runs pretty bad. RTX 3080, i7-12700k, Windows 10, 2560x1440 Monitor with every setting on ultra I have around 100-120fps (idk if I should have more or not, but so far everything is smooth). Overall, I like the game and believe it has great potential. I think optimization is quite good – I haven’t experienced lag spikes, delays, or stuttering so far. I just hope the developers genuinely consider community feedback. Of course, you can’t please everyone, but the more voices and constructive suggestions we have, the better the game will become. Also I would love to see other opinions here, either you agree or disagree with my list or part of it for sure everyone has more to say.It sucks
where do i start? I've played battlefield games since 1942, i played bad company 2 competitively i probably have 4000+ hours collectively played across battlefield games and i really don't know how to say this nicely but this game **bleep**ing sucks,i knew it would probably be bad after 2042's failure but it's even worse than i thought, the gameplay is very very clunky it's comparable to a ps2 game, the graphics are very weird and blurry it reminds me of that medal of honor failure, the sound design seems lazy compared to older titles, the maps are tiny, the time to kill make's it fell exactly like call of duty, classes are back yay! but nothing is class locked lol? you can have two primary weapons? you can have a sniper rifle and a shotgun lol? I'm just gona stop there because that's when i uninstalled it for fear it only gets worse, what an absolute heap of garbage and a complete waste of everyone's time and at the end of it all I'm not even the slightest bit surprised that e.a once again fed us slop but i am surprised everyone's slurping it up lol what is wrong with you lot??EA please help
These maps are too small, this is like call of duty not the large scale warfare of Battlefield 2 ok, you need to listen to your older fans that are loyal who bought every game you ever made, may will agree- Larger Maps!!!!!! Operation Firestorm is a start but a very small map in comparison to BF2 which is still the best... PLEASE give us larger maps and urban combat styles tooFix the issue of being able to climb onto the roof.
Please fix the issue of being able to climb onto the rooftops. It's ruining the gaming experience. I feel like there are enemies on every rooftop, and people downstairs are always at a disadvantage. It's very unfair to those who are attacking and defending positions.
