Battlefield Balance Feedback: Please Prioritize New Player Experience
I’ve played BF1, BF4, BF5, and BF2042. Across all these titles, one core issue stands out: unbalanced matchmaking that kills the experience, especially for new players. Right now, skilled veterans and total beginners often get thrown into the same lobby. New players die within seconds, don’t learn anything, and quickly quit. If this continues, it’s inevitable: new players won’t stick around, and active player numbers will drop dramatically within 1–2 years of launch. This already happened with BF2042.
Here’s what you need to fix:
1. Smarter matchmaking based on player performance (KD, accuracy, etc.).
2. New player protection: beginner-only lobbies for their first 10–20 matches.
3. Balanced game modes where gear is standardized and high-tier unlocks are disabled.
Battlefield’s magic isn’t in flashy trailers or massive maps. It’s in fair, intense, team-based warfare. If new players can’t survive, they won’t stay. Please fix this before it’s too late.
One more question: will Battlefield bring back the Chinese faction in the future? Many players would love to see it return in upcoming content or future titles.
Thanks for reading. We love Battlefield—but don’t let imbalance ruin it again.
