I agree with all the changes except for the first one. Having a squad of 6-8 people would fundamentally break the balance of the game.
BF has ALWAYS been a game where all your friends can play at the same time together. This weekend and last were in credibly annoying trying to get everyone into the same game. This has literally ALWAYS BEEN A THING. We could join each others servers and squad up and all play. 1942,V,2,3,4,1,v and so on... I dont know about 2042 cuz I nver played... I truly havent bought any since 4 since they cant figure out servers fast enough.
We had entire platoons in BF4... We don't need larger squads, just larger party sizes for matchmaking if the server browser is still not going to be front and centre with official servers.
No where does it say to increase squad size. They're saying to increase the party size at the lobby so say you have 7 friends online, you can all join the same party and then search for a game together and join it then 4 people go into Squad Alpha while 3 get put into squad Bravo.
This is much needed for BF6. Mates and I could fill 2 squads but the beta wouldn't let us play together in the same game. Was incredibly frustrating and I could see many players dropping the game as it lacks support for friend groups.
