BF6 Feedback from a Vet

I've been playing since BF3 and I have bought every Battlefield title since then and have come to enjoy each and every game (even BF2042 which I hated for the first 3 months of playing it until it finally became more balanced). For context I'm playing on XBOX.

Firstly the positives I experienced from the Beta. I loved the sound that the guns made firing - this really took me back to my BF3 and BF4 playing days. Map destruction - I'm glad you have brought this back as it was severely lacking in BF2042. The maps also look great and it's good that you have put a lot of cover in as this was also something that was severely lacking from the previous title. There are also far less bugs than what I experienced at the same development stage in the BF2042 beta. I love how you can drag/revive players. Focusing on team play in BF6 is important which is good and is what sets Battlefield apart from other first person shooters. I'm also glad you have thrown away the "special operators" and their abilities which ruined BF2042. Thank you for bringing back the supply stations which were a great feature in BF5 & BF1. I also think we are going to have some real great Battlefield moments in this title which I look forward to. I did have some good moments in Breakthrough and Rush.

Now for the negatives I experienced with this Beta. I really struggled to achieve a positive KD in all of the matches I played. I must have put in 30+ hours and I had less than ten games where I had a positive KD. I even had some games where I went 2 kills with a ridiculous amount of deaths, and even one game where I had no kills (in the history of my BF playing I have never had that happen). In previous Battlefield titles I always had a positive KD. There is something seriously wrong with the mechanics of the game and no matter what I tried I couldn't find a way to improve. If I sped up my gameplay I died, if I slowed down I died. In certain instances I unloaded a full clip into someone to have them turn around and kill me straight away (I know this has been reported by other players). There seemed to be an endless amount of directions you could be shot from or have enemies appear from on the city maps and I'm hoping that the gameplay of these can be fixed to be more of a battlefield feel. For some reason I always felt outgunned and I really struggled with aiming even though I put all settings and controls the same as my previous BF titles.

The scopes on the guns were really hard to get used to and nowhere near as clear as previous titles. You have ruined DMRs for me which have way too much recoil. I love taking on snipers with DMRs but this proved impossible in the beta as I sent plenty of shots down range but received no hit markers. Trying to spawn on team-mates was extremely frustrating as they were always coming up as in combat (sometimes even when they spawned back at the start which made no sense). The clicking on teammates and objectives on the Xbox was so fiddly, frustrating and sometimes impossible as the map went haywire. Everything else bug wise, auto spotting, etc is as per what other people have reported.

I just really hope you find the right balance for this game and develop it to feel like the previous BF titles 4,3,1,5 as these were great games in which we all had so much fun. I can't see myself putting in hours of gameplay on this title if I'm going to have such a bad KD experience.
