Can we have a "Hold button" option for slide instead of "Double press"?

Currently, the slide function works with a double press of the crouch button. While it does the job, it sometimes feels a bit clunky and inconsistent in fast-paced gameplay. Would it be possible to ...

On keyboard I bond C to slide, but you're probably talking controller yeah?

    No, on the keyboard there's an option if you double press the crouch button twice while moving, your character will perform a slide. It would be nice to have the option to trigger the slide when holding the crouch button, instead of the double press.
