EA admits to intentionally & permanently deleting your account

I downloaded the BF6 beta to play on my PS5 console, to be met with a message saying something along the lines of 'Your login details have expired, change your password to play'. I thought no biggie, changed my password, however the problem persisted. 

I then logged into my EA account and tried linking my PSN account, however it told me one is already linked, so I can't do so. It mentioned the email that it was saved to ended in @deleted.ea.com, so obviously EA changed my email associated with the account prior to deleting it. 

After waiting an hour and a half for live chat to respond, I let the EA agent know my dilemma and asked if they could help. They proceeded to tell me that the account that they deleted with no notice is not recoverable and all progress/content is already lost, and in order to progress and link my PSN up, I have to agree for them to delete it (although I cannot access it now anyway?) to start anew. This is insane, I cannot fathom how EA believes it can delete your entire library and void any money you've spent because of an action that they've intentionally made? It's utterly predatory, corrupt and I'm unsure if even legal. 

I proceeded to ask the agent what the timeframe was for accounts to 'expire' as they initially mentioned to me 'It happens after a long time', at which point they responded 'I'm unable to confirm that information'. So, the cherry on the cake is, you cannot prevent it at all - Your options are log in semi-regularly forever, or risk permanent deletion of any content you own after an undisclosed period of time.

I asked to make a complaint to highlight how bad this is and they simply directed me to the forums/mentioned they have no formal complaints process, so here I am. I've downloaded a transcript of the above, and I'll be taking it so social media to highlight how utterly corrupt and morally bankrupt EA truly is.
