FEEDBACK from battlefield core players.
Hello everyone.
Thank you for this beta. With my friends we had a lot of fun during these 2 week end.
We are a group of battlefield players since several years now. And I will share the feedback of my team (represent around 20 peoples).
I try to summarize the items where we are ALL agree.
- top priority is to fix all the area on the map which is not reachable from the ground. Camper on top of building without access is very very frustrating (cairo manhattan) . Same for mountain (liberty pic). Just add extended forbidden area. And be carreful with parachute, actually it s look like a delta-plane deplacement.
- Shotgun is stil an issue. Delete the possibility to have dual weapon with shotgun. It s clearly broken. All assault have shotgun and ASSAULT RIFFLE. They are very strong on mid range and UNPLAYABLE on close range. They have to make a choice. If you choose shotgun it should means you don t have another weapon to be very strong also on mid range. Also if you choose slug. You can t oneshot on very close range. Each one shot mechanic have to means a huge weekness to balance it.
- Assault class is not Ok. 70% of players are playing it. And it s full oriented for solo gaming. This is killing battlefield state of mind. Thermo grenade launcher is broken. Dual weapon with shotgun is broken. Health passive fast regen is broken. I think you need to rework the class to delete some of solo player gameplay items and replace it by team gameplay mechanics. Other class are fine and well balanced.
- Auto spot. The global auto spot system is clearly too strong and too much casual oriented. The entire screen of the sniper class is actually a radar for the team. This is not possible. If you want to keep this system add a couldown with activable competence. And ask to the player if the prefer drone or screen auto spot activable capacity.
- Matchmaking. It s long... 5minutes beetween each game it s too much. And please go easy on sbmm.
- Vehicle : well balanced for us. Number of vehicle on the map is also well balanced. We are playing WITH tank and not World of tank. Maybe avoid the possibility to have 5 ingeneer reparing on the same time a Vehicle. This make it unkillable. The survive of the tank have to be defined by how he move and his positionning, not by the number of engeneers behind him.
So, the 6 points above are the summarize of the most frustrating points from the group of players that I represent. On these points we are ALL agree on the fact that this need to be fixed before the final game.
There is other minor points, but with differents point of view. So I don t share it.
