The game is atrociously bad on controller - coming from a hybrid input gamer
Alright, here goes. I understand that Reddit, EA forums are majority MnK players and this will understandably get some kick back from them but if you get past the noise, the devs will finally begin to understand how horrible this game on controller is.
I am a hybrid mnk and controller player:
CS: Source - 1000hrs mnk
CODMW2 - 400hrs controller (console)
BF3 - 600 hrs mnk
Black ops1 - Controller (console)
BF4 - 100hrs mnk
BF1 - 200hrs controller console)
Pubg - 500hrs mnk
COD Blackout - 50hrs mnk
Apex Legends - 3000hrs mnk/1000hrs controller (PC)
Black ops6/Warzone - 300 hours controller
This is the only game (PC Btw) where controller on PC and cross play is absolutely at a 100% disadvantage. Its not like COD where its the opposite - controller is at an advantage. Apex is more or less fairly even especially after the AA nerf.
Look at hybrid gamers like Symphny - plays on mnk only with BF6 - Genburten (Top 10 controller player for Apex Legends) played only on mnk.
And no, a slight "decrease" in recoil doesn't do **bleep** when the recoil in the game is already easily manageable anyways.
The game absolutely is the worse FPS game I have played for controller.
And don't get me started on the little bugs and weird **bleep** in the game like netcode, bobbling over small objects and bloom. I know enough and played enough Battlefield games that all these issues WILL NOT be fixed by launch. BF3/BF4 took 6months to a year to get the game in a polished state.
And dont worry about bringing COD players to this game as they will drop it either after this beta or within the first month of playing.
Who ever their new input dev was/is needs to be fired immediately as he completely **bleep**t up and did nothing to change or advance the controller settings in the game.
