I think a whole lot people just don't feel like that. I have played about 900 hours of BF4 and BF6 is not so different. Yes, the games takes some own priorities with map design, and with how the guns feel a little bit. But it feels, in a lot of regards, really similar to BF4 and BF3. I played some BF4 these last weeks and it only re-inforced my opinion.
I am glad it is NOT a straight copy. I am glad they are confident and brave enough to also set their own priorities for a *new* game. While being loyal to core mechanics. It's turning out really well for me so far.
