Hit reg / detection

I'm on PC, 7800X3D, RTX4080S, stable 144 capped fps.

There's an issue where shots are not counted/registered. Either while running around with a shotgun indoors, you shoot someone close range, then die from them only to see no damage was done in the death log. Then there's sniping, where it appears to go right through them. It's a bigger issue when using weapons where one shot is all you get. The hit detection can be fine for 10 shots, then the next is a ghost bullet, it is entirely random when it happens.

Same issue. I was fighting an ennemi, 15 shots of m4, total of 4 hits registered for 70 dmg. 2 mates come after me, so ennemi is low life, they both die with hit marker and no damage registered… I clipped it, as I was « shocked ». I m done with this beta. We’ll see if things change in the future…

One match it will be just fine.  Everything feels great.  The next match, it takes twice as many hits to get a kill.  Definitely issues with hit registration or maybe the tick rate is too slow right now.  The game is fun when my hits actually count.

Jack Frags summarised it correctly as "death in a single frame" or at least that's what it feels like. You can hit an enemy numerous time but you are dead instantaneously. Feels very similar to early BF 3/4 which has the same issue of instakill. To be honest, the game isn't that enjoyable, being killed instantly.
