I am going to mark this as solution for Visabilty purposes.
The title says it all.
I got the code watching the streams a couple of days ago:
When clicking, it goes to https://www.ea.com/games/battlefield/battlefield-6/redeem
I had to copy the code from the HTML of the page, btw, because it does not pre-fill it in the input box.
Anyway, put it is, click on redeem, get confirmation and.... nothing else.
According to this, I should have got the option to choose for which platform I wanted to register the beta key...?
My account on EA was linked already to pretty much all platforms I care about:
So... what now? Is the platform choice going to be happening later? Do I get a notification for it somehow?

You can download your EA account data as well.
https://myaccount.ea.com/am/ui/security-privacy/download
it will take up to an hr that's what it tells you to get the data.. well it took me about 10mins to get an email saying my data was ready. When opening the HTML file, I see I was granted access.
