I am going to mark this as solution for Visabilty purposes.
I’m on Xbox and own the Xbox game pass ultimate which comes with EA subscription. From everything I read online this should mean I can play the open beta starting the 7th however it says early access required.

Community AdminHi, sorry for the confusion around this, in this case it sounds like you wouldn't have early access.
Game Pass Ultimate includes EA Play, but the Open Beta early access is included with EA Play Pro, you can see the differences here.
We have a more detailed article here on the Beta access details.
Fortunately, the Open Beta will open up in under 2 days, we'll hopefully see you then.

I got the code from a twitch drop and after playing 1 match it booted me and said I don't have early access. Ridiculous
It was my understanding EA PLay Pro Accounts linked to Steam would allow me access. It hasn't. I have downloaded the Early Access client through the EA App (on PC obviously) and am now sitting in Queue. Pretty frustrating that I'm watching my friends who have not preordered or have EA Play Pro are playing right now. ANd me who has both has had all these issues and still might not get on? I'm 125000 right now. We'll see....
