Maybe performance fix, this is just my experience
so firstly follow this guide https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Fy6Kmvoq14
Download his zip, find the folder for battlefield 6, and run the powershell script for
Battlefield 6 Open beta.ps1
It will drastically change settings, just follow the youtube video, but wack up the texture quality and filtering to max
My specs :
CPU: i7 13700k
GPU: 4080 Super
MB: Z790 EDGE WIFI msi
RAM: Trident Z5 RGB DDR5-6400mhz 32GB
Monitor: 1440p 300Mhz ROG
AND THEN
(this next step seems scary but no it really is safe and it has shown me results on stable 180 fps.
Find out your Cpu model, figure out how many CORES and THREADS it has.
Next go into you BIOS, and DISABLE E-CORES <--- this is perfectly safe to do, your cpu has P cores (performance cores) and E cores (Efficiency cores) games that are cpu bound or games in general ONLY utilize your P-Cores and its perfectly safe to disable e cores for performance, you can google this.
If you followed the guide there will now be a user.cfg file in your file directory, locate that notepad and paste in this:
Thread.ProcessorCount 8
Thread.MaxProcessorCount 8
Thread.MinFreeProcessorCount 0
Thread.JobThreadPriority 0
GstRender.Thread.MaxProcessorCount 12
FOR EXAMPLE, my cpu has 16 cores and 24 threads, being as ive disabled my E-cores, its now half. So i have put only 8 cores on the processor counts above and 12 in the thread count.
so you want to find out how many cores you have in total, then go into your bios DISABLE your e cores and then put the numbers according to whats left in the copy paste above.
This SHOULD hopefully help your performance and before i was hitting 90c now im on like 70-80 degress total but the performance is stabilized for me.
