My feedback after 65 hours

Things that must be fixed:
1. The spotting / red markers above heads. 
 - Essentially everyone is constantly marked at all times. This is the reason people play hardcore but if we're not getting an official hardcore this needs to be changed.
 - The recon auto spotting everyone by just ADSing is just complete nonsense. Due to this and the minimap being so good it's impossible to pull off any flanking maneuver because you're constantly being pinged on their minimaps.
 - If we're keeping this at least make it to where people have to consciously press Q on someone to mark them and make that the ONLY way you have a red dot over your head.
2. IFV shells go through solid objects. From what I can tell they just explode in a circle and if that circle is bigger than what you're hiding behind, even if it's a massive concrete pillar or a conex box or a completely solid object the shot still damages you on the other side. I am not talking like they're shooting the ground to the side of the object they just shoot it straight on and kill you through it.
3. People should not be able to ping enemies while downed. You can stay downed for a really long time and just give your team free information.

Bugs:
1. People marked with the red dot being fully visible behind any form of smoke. Either smoke from a destroyed structure of a smoke grenade. In either case the dot is fully visible and you just spray it until you get the kill. Please remove this entirely
2. I hate to be another person online crying about netcode but I died fully around the corner dozens of times.
3. The scope glare is literally so powerful that when a sniper shoots and ducks back behind a rock it still bleeds through the texture when they're completely behind cover. I had many sniper battles where I knew exactly where they'd come out because their scope glare was just bleeding through rocks on Liberation Peak.
4. Had issues on multiple maps where railings and potted plants had full square hitboxes and you couldn't should through them until the object was destroyed.
5. Liberation Peak base C you can climb the rocks and place a spawn beacon literally inside of the texture.
6. You don't get out of a vehicle in the side you're on. From what I can tell it's either completely random or always on one side.
7. Every 2-3 maps I would randomly get artifacting all over my screen coming from what I assume to be my sight. I couldn't reproduce the issue as it happened on multiple guns across multiple maps and seemed to be completely random. Nobody else I played with seemed to have this issue either. It lasted on average about 3-4 seconds.
8. I would say 20% of the time when I put down a spawn beacon as Recon on a flat surface after the indicator changed from red to gray it just completely disappears. It ate the charge and didn't but the beacon down.
9. Rarely if I was custom searching for just Breakthrough it would put the group in queue for Conquest after that game ended.

Suggestions:
1. The shotgun doesn't need nerfed. Because of the TTK in this game if you miss a single shot against someone with a LMG, SMG or AR in close combat you're dead. Keep the shotgun the way it is. It's refreshing that a shotgun in a game is finally good again.
2. Breakthrough sectors that have 2 points should only have to be taken once. Meaning if a sector has A & B and you take A the enemy shouldn't be able to take A back when you are assaulting B. It's already way too hard to win on attack as it is. You could really only ever completely win on Empire State and that was because the enemy really didn't have any advantage on defense due to the map structure.
3. When you're recharging your "gadgets" on an ammo box and the medic places is back down or the supply box gets destroyed your progress gets completely reset. It would be awesome if the game remembered how close you were to a new charge and kept that percentage when you hit a new box.
4. When you get rezzed by a Medic you pull out your primary weapon and not whatever secondary/gadget you had out at time of being downed. It would be nice if the game remembered and you didn't have to switch back to it.
5. A direct hit with the thermal noob tube should kill not leave them with 8 hp.
6. The indicator for an enemy grenade is way too big and obvious. 
7. Grenade damage and explosion radius is a bit too nerfed.
8. C4 needs a slight buff in damage and radius as well.
9. People shouldn't be able to be prone on the back of tanks while they drive around at full speed just healing them.
10. Bring back assist points being the damage you did to the enemy not just a static +50.

Finally. You should make people pass an eye exam if they're going to play the support class. Because whew lad some of those players are something else.

  • For the Shotgun, the distance at which you could one-shot someone seemed too far. I understand very close quarters, where every pellet is going to hit, but I was one-shot way too many times from a distance that made it impossible to do anything. If the only counter is to hope they miss, that is not really balanced imo.
