Overall Feedback

So i played the full Beta so far and as a vetaran who play Since BadCompany 2 i realy love the Game so far you realy can tell that they want to reach back to the Roots beside all Content Creaters that talk a lot of BS i want to open a Discussion about the Sniper Scope lights (glims).

I though a lot about that topic and wanted to open the Question would be realy bad if glims would be removed? Dont get me Wrong sure this Feature is major nerf so you have some downside as long ranged sniper but looking back at Battllefield 3 and 4 it wasnt that big of a deal because it was easy to trace the bullets where they coming from and even looking and bigger maps its always a cristmas background so my Major Discussion would be that at least the Recon has that Passive that there is no glim on the scope. Its a Skill raise that dosnt destroy the Game because you still have the killcam who shows the exact Position of the Sniper.

What do you all think? 

Besides that all classes are good so far at least for the Beta sure the Shotgun needs some nerf and the stationd smaws on the maps needs a little buff beside some Balancing the Game feels greet the TTK is good and the Vehicles are also cool i hope that they also get some level progression so i can have my own "Tank Class".

    They said they will adjust the size of the glint and scale it down so it might be closer to the bf4 glint and what we have right now. I mainly play sniper, and I can tell u if they remove Glint it would be broken af for the sniper :)

    I wouldnt say that if we look back at 3 and 4 and i think there was no glint in 4 it wouldnt hurt if the did remove because you have the killcam. Having a huge flashlight isnt realy a good thing for snipers tbh :)

    Wouldn't be broken at all if the glint is removed, more balanced. Bad Company 2 was the best Battlefield game and it didn't have it, neither did all the Battlefield games before it.  It's really easy to tell who started playing in the newer games because it's always been a thing in their time playing so they can't see how it would work without glint and they simply don't know any better. There's already a bullet trail that leads you directly to the shooters location, the audio of the shots lead you to their general location and the killcam reveals their location so you can call it out or find them easier next spawn. Not to mention the spotting in this game is insane with how many methods there are and it basically never ends. How many crutches can you possibly need?? I'd love to see these types of players try to play a realism shooter where you don't have any of these hand holding mechanics, they would lose their minds.

  • I think glints should really be more apparent when you're specifically being aimed at. That way if you see it you know that shot is meant for you or is showing the potentially being shot at. Also, I think glint shouldn't work when a sniper is inside a building with no light around to glint the scope.

  • As a recon player i agree completely but I wouldn't mind the glint staying if you are at the highest point of the map and the sun hitting your scope. it would make players consider the terrain advantage at the cost of being spotted or playing more tactical (shot and move to keep your opponents guessing), flank, assassinate, flush enemies. It would make the recon class a more effective unit with out giving it an overpowered ability or weapon because all those aspects take a lot of skill and luck to pull off.

    Not to mention there are a lot of ways to give a snipers position away, after they take a shot or kill an enemy, so losing terrain advantage to keep your self hidden is pointless since you can easily be found again. Camping is the best solution to the glint always happening when an sniper aims.

    Counter sniping is already covered by auto spotting. So it would give our unit a more active role on the field. But yes with glint always on removed from the game. I think it will make recon class stand out on its field

    For the shotgun not so much of a nerf but rather increase the area of spray to it stays lethal on close range but not so much as the distance increases.
