Performance Mode and FPS limiter

I usually go for performance mode when it comes to shooters and competitive games but this is the first time where a game, playing on Performance mode ( base PS5 ) leads to screen tearing and fuzzy visuals to the point that balance mode looks way more smoother at the cost of responsiveness.

It is likely due to my monitor not having a VRR and the game not having a steady framerate in that mode or lack some kind of synchronization.

I think it would be of great use having a Performance Mode with a frame limiter option, so that everyone can benefit of improved responsiveness without losing visual quality more than it needs to be lost, regardless of the monitor in use.
