Respawn times too fast

Respawn times feel too short and disrupt game balance, even if instant respawns appeal to some players. Losing a soldier should have a bigger impact on the team, encouraging players to wait for a revive and motivating teammates to assist. A 15-second respawn timer could help, starting when you’re downed. If no one revives you and you force a respawn, you’d still wait until the timer ends before rejoining. Forcing a respawn immediately after being downed would still require a 15-second wait, adding a consequence for force spawning. If revived after 10 seconds, those seconds could be deducted from the timer if you die again shortly after, making revives more valuable. This system would temporarily take a soldier out of action, giving the opposing team a better chance to secure or defend objectives. Currently, instant respawns make eliminating enemies less rewarding. Taking out a sniper only for them to reappear moments later is frustrating, especially with spawn beacons. Spawn beacons and spawning on teammates should drop players from the air with a parachute, giving the enemy team a chance to kill them before landing or at least reveal their position. Spawning on a spawn beacon or teammate shouldn’t be risk-free.
