I play as a medic, so the snipers annoy me... although... is not the point of a sniper to be... you know? Hidden? In other words, hard to find. So, they can provide sniper cover, lasering and intel...? Just make the snipers fire slower (Make the bolt action slower). Instead, they will flash of the sun to the entire server the second the scope in untill they scope out again. On top of that, it's a legit eyesore to see all of those glints all the time. We already know the snipers are out there, we don't need them to passively blind us as well. Just give the some more muzzle flash.
I know, ''balancing tool'', the lack of damage from a high caliber bullet to the chest is kind of already a huge balancing tool. Making the snipers having to hit a headshot at long range and even at close range. So, it is a hard to use weapon. But, the aim down sight speed and the bolt action is way to fast.
But, in my opinion, it's the wrong way to ''balance'' a LONG RANGE ROLE.
It would be like switching out the Engineers torch with a hammer cause they are fixing up those tanks way to fast. Like, on the right track, just not quite there yet... the exit was a mile up...
