Tanks, the silent killer...
Just me or does Armour seem to be silent until it's within 10-15m then I can hear them. Shouldn't I hear a rumble at least from the end of the street??

go into your audio and change the range.
Currently the default is most sounds are all the same volume, changing it allows sounds to be louder from further away
